Incorporating a professional corporation involves numerous additional steps, including approval from the regulated profession's regulatory body and very specific inclusions in the articles of incorporation. As such, the base rate for incorporating a professional corporation is slightly higher than that of a regular corporation, with additional time and/or expenses incurred beyond the typical incorporation process potentially further increasing its cost. Our basic rate legal fees for an Alberta professional corporation starts at $995.00, nevertheless as you can well note from the following charts there are considerable additional charges that must be paid in the process.

* Standard hourly legal rate of lawyer Christopher Neufeld for work beyond the base incorporation work is $400 per hour, plus applicable taxes, disbursements and other charges.
